Meghan Markle's pregnancy in pictures
It's all happening for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry this year. After getting engaged in November 2019, the couple got married at Windsor Castle in May, and in October they announced they were expecting a baby.
While the pregnancy announcement was met with excitement from royal fans, it didn't particularly surprise anyone. Speculation had been running rife about Meghan being pregnant since the Duke and Duchess of Sussex got married, and onlookers would take anything from hairstyles, to photographs, to outfit choices as potential evidence to back up their theory.
But these theories, it seems, were mostly correct. And now we come to look more closely, we can see the teeny tiny evolution of Meghan's bump from non-existent to now, when she's thought to be hovering around the early stages of the second trimester.
Based on a very vague due date of 'Spring 2019', Meghan and Harry may well have conceived around June 2019, just a month after their wedding. Here she is in Chester on her first outing with the Queen, with no visible bump quite yet.
Pictured at the Sentebale charity polo match in July, there's still no sign of any bump on Meghan's belly. But the chances are, there was actually a teeny, tiny baby Meghan/Harry hybrid starting to sprout in there.
On Meghan's 37th birthday in early August, she and Harry attended the wedding of Charlie van Straubenzee and Daisy Jenks. While we didn't spot it at the time, is there the smallest hint of curvature to her stomach here? Maybe I'm just staring at it too hard...
Meghan made her debut solo engagement on September 25 at the opening of the Oceania exhibit at the Royal Academy of Arts, andnowwe see why she went for an all-black outfit with matching decoy clutch bag. It's hard to make out the exact silhouette of the baby bump in amongst all the darkness, but now we are wise to Meghan's pregnancy, we can see it's there in the very early stages (she was probably around 9 or 10 weeks at this point).
Another clever outfit choice from Meghan here shortly before the 12-week mark. Wearing a Hugo Boss high-waisted pencil skirt in a rigid material like leather meant it skimmed over her slightly protruding stomach. Not something you'd have noticed from the front, but from the side you can see she's a little bigger than she was previously.
Aaaand here it is ladies and gentleman... the bump has finally arrived. With no need to hide it anymore, following an October 15 announcement, Meghan chose numerous bump-enhancing outfits to show off her one-third-brewed baby. And what do you know, she's glowing!
On the night of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's six-month wedding anniversary, the pair headed to the Royal Variety Performance at The London Palladium.
For her first time at the event, Meghan showed off her blossoming bump while wearing a beautiful sequin monochrome halter-neck top and skirt by Safiyaa.
